Booth (s) Requested: You may enter a general location, i.e. between 101 W. Caribou & 121 W. Caribou. This will offer you the best chance of leasing a booth in the area that you want. The more information that you provide about the location you prefer, the better we can accommodate your request. Specify North or South facing, the aisle you prefer and East or West side of Salmon Run (market center). Standard Vendor spaces are 10’ wide by 20’ deep in Caribou Corridor, Moose Hollow and Bear Boulevard (includes sidewalk). Exception: Aurora Alley booths are 15’ wide by 10’ deep. This lease agreement is a binding legal document between ALASKA MARKETS & EVENTS, INC. hereinafter “lessor”) located at 741 E. 13th Avenue, Anchorage, AK 99501-4621 and customer listed immediately below (hereinafter "Vendor")

1. AGREEMENT For and in consideration of Vendor’s agreement to pay rent in exchange for Lessor’s agreement to lease space to Vendor on the terms, covenants, and conditions set forth hereafter, Lessor does hereby lease, demise, and let unto Vendor and Vendor does hereby hire and take from Lessor the portion of the Anchorage Market Area (more fully described In paragraph 6 of this lease agreement's Terms and Conditions) specified in item 2 below (said portion being referred to hereafter as the “Leased Space”). 2. TERM: LEASED SPACE The term of this lease shall commence at 6:00 a.m. Alaska Daylight Savings Time on each of the Saturdays or Sundays designated hereafter, for which Vendor has paid, in advance, the appropriate rental charges set forth below and the term shall end at 7:30 p.m. Alaska Daylight Savings Time, on each Saturday; or on each Sunday; or on the Sunday should both days have been contracted within one weekend. The Leased Space and the days included in the term of this lease, so long as Vendor has paid the appropriate rental charge in advance, shall be the space numbers noted hereafter for the days noted next to the space numbers (SB indicates stand-by status with no booth number currently assigned, space will be assigned on Leased date of and T(n) indicates table in a Craft Tent):

Menu: You may select two “semi-exclusive” items for each booth space Leased. No more than two food vendors will be allowed to sell the same main items at the Anchorage Market. You must notify us in writing in advance to add a menu item. Deadline for food menu submission is April 17, 2020. There is no limitation on the number of food vendors who sell french fries, potato chips, onion rings, cookies, pies, cakes, black coffee (not espresso), slushies, smoothies, hot or cold brewed tea and chili used as a topping.

Exclusive Items Beginning in 2020, Food Vendors may request the exclusive rights to a particular menu item. If an exclusive item is approved by the Anchorage Market Manager and the Food Vendor has paid the appropriate exclusive fee in full, no other vendor may sell an identical menu item, however similar items may be sold. For example, piroshky, empanadas, sausages, kabobs, frozen treats and other items may sound the same but can be entirely different items due to ingredients and preparation techniques – many also have a different customer base. Exclusive item requests must be submitted in writing no later than Friday, October 11, 2019 and will be processed for final consideration by our office within 30 days.

How many feet wide is your trailer at its widest point with windows open? How long is your trailer from the front coupling to the rear bumper?

Please email photos and/or a sketch of trailer to ensure we place you in a space that will work. Market manager will measure all food trailers to ensure space leased is adequate.
Electrical outlets are available to Food Vendors on a priority basis. Each food booth has available at least one 15amp duplex outlet that Leases for $20 per market day. Most food booths will have an additional 15amp duplex outlet within a 100-foot distance that will Lease for $10 per market day, if needed. We also have 6 - 50amp outlets for trailers, 50amp outlets Lease for $40 per day. All are likely committed for the 2020 season by grandfather rights. It is each Food Vendor’s responsibility to ensure that an adequate amount of electrical service is purchased for your needs. Vendors should be prepared with 120-foot or more of outdoor rated extension cord as some outlets are further than others. Should you need electrical service, it is required that vendor find the tag on each of their electrical appliances and determine their electrical needs in volts (120 usually); watts and/or amps. Be aware of the appliance’s electrical needs when you purchase them. List ALL needed electrical appliances below (if no electricity will be used, please type "na" in FIRST row of boxes):
